Not certain if this is applicable to your model, but handbrake light staying on when the handbrake is off means your brake fluid level is low. Check it out ASAP.

Hi all,

I'm hoping someone can tell me what's wrong if the handbrake light stays on after being released? It's only started happening since this cold weather kicked in.

('93 WRX, no manual obviously)

The handbrake sensor/switch has stuck on... probably just needs cleaning/greasing
