Is this a no go?

When I complete a 'Quick Quote' on their website I get the following result:

We're very sorry but based on the details given we are unable to provide you with a Quick Quote.

If I go back and change my age from 24 to 25, and keep everything else the same, I get:

Your motor insurance could be between:

£918.35 - £1015.02

Anyone under 25 managed to get insurance from this lot? I'm sure when I phoned up last year they said: "Sorry, no under 30s"!

Cheers,
J

They don't do under 25's at the minute.

I rang up the other day and the operator said they don't insure under 30s on Scoobs.

I got the same on a 200SX which I don't yet have, and I'm 22. :(

I still don't get L&V - I'm sure they are insuring imports contrary to the T&Cs on the website.

What is going on? I know there are people between 25-30 insured with L&V yet others are told no under 30s? Does it depend who you speak to? Can anyone answer yes to any of the following?

1) Are you under 30 and insured by L&V?
2) Are you under 25 and insured by L&V?
3) Do you have an import and insured by L&V?

Sorry to go on but I just hate this sort of inconsistency :D (and I'm pi$$ed off cos they won't insure me ;)).

I also phoned lv ,im 29 and they wont ensure me cause im under 30 for wrx

JamieMacdonald 14 November 2003 02:44 AM

Ah, so is it "no under 30's" for imports, but "under 30's ok" for UK Turbos (but over 25's only)?

Seems a bit silly seeing how you could mod a UK car (for no increase in premium) to be more powerful than a WRX?!

Anyone else?
