Having just bought my MY95 WRX, I need to find someone reasonably local to Milton Keynes to look after it technically.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

I too have the same question, but for a UK car ... as far as I can tell the nearest dealers are at Aylesbury and Northampton. There are plenty of Scoobs in MK, so where do you guys go?

i live in mk but work in bedfordshire so i go to welches in cambridgeshire were i got the car from. more than happy with the service. the other dealer in this area is quenbys in baldock.

Roger Clark Motorsport in Leicester (near M1)
Power Engineering in Uxbridge (M25)
Scoobysport in Basildon (M25 - A127)

They're all about an hour from Milton Keynes and all good for serviciong imports.

I used to use Westaway Motors on the other side of Northampton.

They've been servicing my scoob since new and have been quite helpful (except their courtesy cars seem quite ropey).. Problem is it takes me about 30-40 mins to get there.

I went to the powerboat show in MK, and there was a Subaru stand there from Deer Leap of Aylesbury who have just opened.

Guy on the stand was very helpful and keen to get my custom (is that a first for a Subaru dealer?) even though I'd just told him I'd jumped the waiting list and ordered a new car through a broker (1 week from ordering to delivery..)

Given that there are so many Scoobs in MK, why don't we organise a get together ?

I use Dave West at Risboro 4 Wheel Drive Centre in Princes Risborough. He is an ex Subaru mechanic, has all the tools and experience and is quite cheap. princes Risborough isn't far from you (just the other side of Aylesbury) His number is 01844 274652

I live between Northampton and Milton Keynes and I go to Westaway in Spratton (North of Northampton).

Both my brother and I have bought new MY99's from them and they have been excellent.

My car has just been up for its 7500 service.

They will service your WRX for you but won't be able to help you if there is anything wrong with it, as per normal franchised dealers.
