It's time to take my MY99 5dr to France (far more partical than the 4dr - just think of all the extra wine I'll be able to bring back! - see the "Has a 5 door got any street cred?" thread on the Genarl board)

I'm sure someone else has taken a MY99 to Europe. What did you do for headlight conversion? Is there any magic conversion or is it down to Halfords for a stick on deflector? If it's a stick on job where does it go - there are no gridlines to align it to?

Julian.

Speaking to a French friend of the Parents In Law ( they have a Gite down there ).

He said that the French don't really mind and they don't do it when they come to the UK.

Still Pete and some of the others did convert there head lights with various deflectors and bits of black tape on the Catalunya trip. ( mind you they still blinded us when they were 4 km behind us ).
