Yeah I know the 6000 fits OK, I wanted to know if anyone had tried the 6500 and if there was any difference?

Thanks for the web site thought though -

6000cs = 53Hz - 21kHz (mounting depth 53mm)
6500cs = 53Hz - 21kHz (mounting depth 62mm)

I guess that settles it in favour of the 6000.

I'm getting a MY03 WRX and planning to immediately upgrade the ICE. I've noticed that mcs-direct have the 6500cs and the 6000cs at the same price so does anyone know if the 6500cs will fit the hole with a spacer and does it have any advantage over the 6000cs, e.g. a bit more low end?

I'm not planning to have a sub so I'll need as much bass in the front as I can muster.

Cheers
Gary.

Go to the Infinity web-site, there is a tool that advises which speaker fit in your car. I've run it earlier today and it lists the 6000CS as fitting okay in the 03MY.

Sorry for hijacking this thread but looking for some advice. I have always used Alpine component speakers, previously SPR 175A, now looking at buying the SPR 176a, would you recommend the Infinity 6000cs over these?
