Exactly the same thing happened to me in my MY94 UK standard turbo, but in my case it WAS the clutch (at 40k miles). Bye bye 700 quid. I got it fixed by Crossroads Garage, then of New Cheriton, now at Petersfield. They used to handle WRXs so you could try them on 01962 771881

After driving my MY94 WRX RA for oooh 25 flipping miles, the clutch pedal sank to the bottom of the footwell and didn't come back.
The car has only 25K miles on it. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/mad.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/mad.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/mad.gif
(Justin, it was about 3 seconds after I left you.)

It cost me £93 to join the RAC with minimal cover. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/mad.gif

The RAC guy said it was the slave cylinder for the clutch and not the clutch itself, which I guess is a small blessing.

The car won't go anywhere right now (Unless you jam it into 2nd and don't stop at traffic lights. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/mad.gif

So, if anyone knows of a friendly garage in the Baisngstoke area that can pick up the car on a flat bed, then fix the slave cylinder, and not charge me more than I paid for the car, I'd be most grateful.

Thanks Julie,

I'll give them a call. Fingers crossed it's not the clutch...
