Please does anyone know the recommended spec
oil for the 'box and diffs on these cars?
esp interested in 95 WRX RA Sti with driver adjustable centre diff.
couldn't find in FAQ or search of BB.

You can find it all at www.cerbera.co.uk

Under sources of information theres a Japanese manual translation.

I just got all mine done at the 40,000 kilometer service - they're all different & fairly expensive!. According to this you should change the g/box oil every 20,000 kilometers which is a pain.....

Cheers, Mark.

it seems that the Impreza is rather picky when it comes to engine oils and other engine fluids and you can only use specific ones from specific brands. I personally use SYNECO oils which are quite expensive, but then again nobody said that the car was cheap to run. Another option are Valvoline oils.

Thanks Chaps,

to summarise from the info Mark referred to:
Transmission - S75-W90(GL-5)
Diff - 75-W90(GL-5)
Rear Diff - 75-W90(GL-5)
Rear Diff LSD - "Subaru Gear Oil LSD"

any ideas on that last one?
