Does anyone know where to get hold of the deep screen visors that stick to the inside of the windscreen. Seen a few around but not sure where to get them from?

Ta!

Seen the picture but how does it fit around the rear view mirror...do you have the remove it before you fit it?

Cheers

That's the wimp's option! :D

Inside ones are best as they don't interfere with the windscreen wipers. Fitting them round the mirror mount is a piece of pee if you know how to do it! ;)

Hi greasemonkey,

I take it you've done one on the inside.

Where did you get it from etc? and what problems did you encounter?

Hi Steve, got mine made by a local signwriting firm, just gave them what I wanted as an .eps file and they did the rest.

Only "trick" involved in applying is to give windscreen damn good clean, then spray a very weak washing up liquid solution over it. This will allow you to slide the visor around, get the positioning right and get rid of the air. Once it's correct, use a credit card to squeeze the water and bubbles out. Leave it to dry and it'll look perfect.

If you're doing it on a new age car, locate the correct position and cut the mirror mount hole out with a fresh scalpel blade. Easy! :)
