Used to get flashed occasionally when those in, but nothing to what I get now with HID's - even though they're adjusted properly.

At end of day, as long as you know you're not dazzling anyone, it's just one of the prices you pay for being able to see where you're going. However bad they are, they can't be anywhere near as bad as those frigging Renault lights. I'm sure you know the ones I mean! ;)

Anyone else get flashed etc even when driving on dipped ?

Philips Vision Plus headlight bulbs (fitted to a classic)

I've had these in for over a year and only just now people are starting to flash their main beams, rear fogs at me as if to say im on main beam or something

ive even set the headligt adjuster to the lowest setting.

Sod going back to the standard candles....err...bulbs, they can all suffer :D

The Vision Plus lamp is an homologated lamp fully Reg 37 approved. The filament position is far tighter controlled then required by the regulations.

This means that if you are being flashed you lamps (bulb) is either not sitting correctly or your headlamps are incorrectly adjusted.

It is your reflector and lens in conjunction with the filamant position that controls your light distribution and therefore glare.

You get glare and flashing for example on RALLY LAMPS as they do not have to comply to this precision as they are not used on the road !!!!!!!!!!

Fit some 130W Oscar+ lamps and flash them back, then they'll realise you didn't have them on full after all!!!

Or alternatively, fit Scoobysport HID's, flash 'em back ,and they'll all be in the ditch, and you can have the road to yourself:D:
