Don't think there ar many RB5's in Cov are there ?

I have one of them but I wasn't near the Holyhead Road
last night...

Jag_h when/where did you see one? I'm always a bit reluctant
about waving incase you get blanked and look a bit of an ar$e.
so I always wait to be waved at first  :)

I often see one on the humber road in the mornings and have posted
it on here but had no replys..

grahame, i dont remember exactly what time it was, but i think it was about 3ish.

i rmember it being a T-plate grey RB5 with two guys in it at the time. thats all.

to be fair, i didnt wave either, but i did try to make eye contact to see any reaction.

whoever it was, was concentrating on his driving, so he probably didnt even see my bright sonci blue p1 that blends in with the walls... :)

Too up your own arse to wave?

Glanced at my car then his nose went skyward! Despite my scoobywave.

jag_h 01 October 2003 11:24 AM

was this a Tplate car or later example? v or w.

i saw a T palte one last week who didnt acknowledge me either!

XXGOMXX 01 October 2003 03:10 PM

WAs'nt me on both counts.......

Spoon 02 October 2003 07:49 PM

There's a real prick, I mean a real prick who owns one and lives on the outskirts of the city.

He's such a wet he wouldn't ignore you through malice but I doubt if he understands the term acknowledgement if it was explained to him.

He was never in the queue when enthusiasm for anything was given out, has to be the most boring individual on the planet.

sulli 02 October 2003 09:24 PM

That's him. Grey suit on, dark hair, miserable feck.

worley 02 October 2003 10:57 PM

I've seen this guy around, he tried it on against an 'E46 M3' and refused to move over on the A446 (M6 to A45).

He finally got the hint that someone wanted to pass. :D

jag_h 02 October 2003 11:55 PM

graham. it was at the bottom of london road just before the a46 on the islnad. we sort of went round the island together. it was a couple of weeks back and the RB5 had a passenger with him. I got a P1...

i turned to go towards the safeways, the other car went round onto the a46 i think...

GrahameS 03 October 2003 08:03 AM

Oh, don't think that was me either, I work near that safeways
though but I come up the A46 and turn towards safeways, not
down London Road.

I've seen on a few round there but coming down humber road

jag_h 03 October 2003 11:53 AM

whoever it was sort of went round the island and back onto the a46, unless they came from the safeway side but still went round the island to get onto the a46...

i was coming out of the london road junction and went towards safeway... the RB% was already on the island when i joined but went around onto the a46. i just presummed he came off the a46.

Spoon 03 October 2003 04:06 PM

You mean there's 2 out there, both in RB5's!!

The guy I mean has fair hair, probably more ginga.

Somebody help us all.

jag_h 04 October 2003 01:21 PM

Spoon, i think ur on about the same one as me then... im pretty sure he was fair haired, but then i couldnt recognise him if saw him everyday! the one ur on about, is he in cov near the A45 or A46?

GrahameS 04 October 2003 03:27 PM

Hmmm, i'm a bit concerned now, I come along the A45 & A46
daily but don't really see any Scoobys. If it is me I apologise
for not waving, but I don't think it is..

What kinda times are we talking about ?

At the same time though it is a bit harsh to roast people for
not waving, its not like it's condition of Scooby ownership or anything :)

Spoon 04 October 2003 07:28 PM

Jag_h- That's his route as I know who he works for so chances are it's him and not you GrahameS(your login name doesn't fit either)

As I said earlier I shouldn't worry, this guy would struggle to recognise himself in a mirror!!

Spoon 05 October 2003 11:43 AM

Yes, it's amazing how Coventry Council uses Sonic blue paint for the towns walls, mind you, it's football team is sponsored by Subaru after all!!

jag_h 05 October 2003 01:55 PM

poor subaru eh, do you think coventry where the last team ouot of the hat?! :)
