My son wants an MP3 player for his birthday on Thursday, the one he's taken a fancy to is a Navom Bas - 888 MP3 player

Anybody know anything about them, if they can be got cheaper, better, smaller Etc in the UK?

I got a nice usb mp3 player from maplin 64MB so can fit about 12-16 tunes at a time or if the mood takes you word documents and pictures etc. Very compact and quite cheap (£60). The headphones are a little spazzy but you can buy some better ones. As I say, very tiny player that fits in the pocket nicely. Suits me as it takes only a couple of mins before work to generate a new playlist for the bus. It plugs into any USB port on any standard PC so I can charge mine at work and swap tunes with pals etc.. hope that helped matey!

hmm, i suppose it is more functional, but the cheaper player I got has more space for files or MP3's at half the price. Still it's not bad at all at that price.

who knows they might not even have to remember there wire to charge the thing up at work? ;)

your only option is the iPod. seriously its the best out there and has all the storage u could ever need.

I've got a creative Jukebox, cost 199quid but its 20GB so 5000+ songs, I've got over 150 CD's on mine and I backup my laptop files to it, its not full yet. However I've seen an Ipod and its smaller and lighter than my Jukebox, plus it looks very good.

mines plugged safely into the back of my PC now Hobo, draining precious electricity from the company as we speak, by the way your hair's looking a little greasy today.

I never leave home without it.
