I'm looking at buying a 2002 52 plate Mondeo 1.8 Zetec Estate for lugging the family and all the various bits of kit that that entails (and my golf clubs so that I can escape when we visit the inlaws for the weekend :D )

The one I'm looking at has quite a high mileage at 32,000 but I recon I can use this to pull the price down. The fact that it is the last day of the month and this guys sales target may be riding on this car may also help.

Anyway - does anyone know the dealer retail price listed for this car in Parkers/Glass's ? He's offered £9700, which is below the price of £10,885 listed for a 10,000 mile car

Cheers

You can get a personalised valuation for £1.99 at www.parkers.co.uk

This takes account of actual milage, colour, spec. It will even give you a certifiacte you can print and shwo the buyers/seller

Cheers guys - the Autotrader one gives a trader retail price of 10,069 - no matter what mileage you put on it !

I guess I'll need to shell out my £1.99 and get a certificate from Parkers! Lol!

Cheers all for the links (now bookmarked :D ) and the data.

Managed to talk them down to a £9400 plus some odds and ends (free servicing for life, new mats, tank of petrol, cuddly toy for the kid etc etc )
