Went down to Power Engineering yesterday for a spur of the moment Power Run.

After the initial run we decided to fit a K&N Panel Filter. The press accociated with
STI's and Ramairs on this list re fitting made the test a good idea. The K&N is a
lot more ridgid than the Ramair.

To Power Engineering's and my suprise we found that low down ie below approx 3500 we
were losing about 7bhp at points but above 4500 we were 8-9bhp up on std at a lot of points.
All these measurements were at the wheel to get rid of flywheel discrepancies. So Flywheel you
are looking at approx 30-35% more.

On the road the filter feels like the numbers on the road. Its a little tighter low
down but feels better high up.

Worth while ?. I'm happy. Need to do a Ramair followed by a K&N for a good comparison.
The K&N gave an extra 8bhp peak power at the flywheel.
