Been driving Prodrive's White Prototype P1 for the last four months and although bloody quick and very scary I still want a bit more power !, the car did fail an MOT due to emissions but we got it sorted.

Can't even tell what exhaust is on it as the CAT is half way down the car and it's got an STI tailpipe.

I was told to ramp the crap out of it to try and get the CAT upto temp but doin that attracts attention as it gets to 100 very quickly.

Can anyone help ? would like a full system that could pass an MOT and deliver more power !

Have also heard that the car cannot possible go over 160mph and sub 4.5 to 60 ! NOT TRUE, i have no idea who would try such a silly thing either !

Just put the centre section in from a standard exhaust when its MOT time. Works for me. Flew through.

Either:

1. Leave £10 under sun visor

or

2. Take another catted car and get that emissions tested.

Both get a decatted car through the emissions test.

Can you post a pic of this new P1 please? What sort of power is it running?

Are you in Cheltenham by any chance??? Seen one about..

Akshay, I think Bod is referring to T*** *FC, the original P1 prototype. Not a prototype for a new car, which is what you appear to be thinking. :)
