ello.

basically i want a new job (current one dead end low pay etc)
and wouldnt mind doing something in it, not realy bothered what area in it, only problem is, i have no qualifications in it. i do have 11 years of personal expierience ie.repairing friends and family pc's building myself and friends pc's also quite well up on the software side, all m$ operating systems and most software packages etc, dont know much about linux or programming tho as this is my weak area but i am an extremely quick learner!!

so to the point..
anyone know of any jobs in the manchester area i could do full time that pay more than £6 per hour?

thankee anyone who replies :D

www.jobserve.com

I'm sure even a low level support position will pay more than £6 p/h.

rogp,

You overestimate the market matey. There was a second level requiring NT4/2K + linux and Cisco and a foriegn language and that barely scraped in over £6p/h

Also if anyone has any NT/2K/NOVELL Cisco and server hardware jobs on the wirral let me know ;)

Hi Stu,

Yep, perhaps I was a little too positive with that comment.

Perhaps we have it too easy down south? ;-)

Seriously HJ the market has gone to sh*t. There is very little about at the mo. Its an alarming fact that 4 out of 10 contractors are currently out of work.

People like myself in IT work at the moment on a reasonably good salary are sitting tight preying for a good upturn, but no sign of any just upturn for a while yet

SJ_Skyline 30 September 2003 09:31 AM

Totally agree with Stueyb there...

...although I am praying for an upturn ;)
