Following on the various pikey related threads recently, I thought I would just like you know that there are 2 pikey vans camped out in the B&Q car park just along from my work. I drove past them last night and nearly crashed as I didn't believe my eyes, and then at lunchtime today I noticed that they were using B&Q's fence as a clothes line (PMSL).
By the time I go home tonite there is bound to be another 10 vans each with a dog and a horse tied to them.
Soon they will be round offering to re-tarmac our car park !!!!

And when they leave you can bet they'll leave about 50 tons of ****e behind which you the council tax payer will have to get cleared up.

I'd never heard the word pikey til a few weeks ago on this BBS. We just call them Gyppo's here in Wales.

Chip 24 September 2003 06:08 PM

David Lock 24 September 2003 06:15 PM

But they could be gay pikeys which could make this thread interesting? Hobbledehoys (spelling?) was another name.. :D

logiclee 24 September 2003 06:20 PM

Very rough village a few miles from my work.

Gypo's thought it would be good to set up on a piece of land the local kids use to play on.

On the second night a Range Rover and an E Class merc belonging to the Gypo's "Caught Fire!" They left the same day and haven't been back.

Good to hear lee :)

Hate them, not cos of their lifestyle, and not because they dont pay taxes etc and i do - but because they go around putting a black cloud wherever they are with their litter and localised crimewaves.

You have to admire the cheek of some. Some people that live in caravans that park em on other peoples land without permission and leave crap everywhere and do shoddy tarmac jobs arrived near us and the next day the shop where my wife works 8 people ran out of the shop each carrying a boxed widescreen tv jumped in a transit van and dissappeared .The next day a steady stream of people begin returning tvs for refund saying there faulty after 4 had come back in the space of an hour the store checks one inside the box a very old beat up portable tv and 2 bricks.

lightning101 24 September 2003 09:06 PM

Yep - they are Gypo's in scotland as well - some of them have S-Class mercs with private plates and caravans with jacuzzis though - e.g. hornes carnival.

j_p_h 24 September 2003 09:15 PM

They've all got really expensive cars round our way.

Redkop 24 September 2003 09:45 PM
