Bought a hks muffler for me wagon to find the damn thing didnt fit,hks say that they dont do one for this type of car now(althought they sold me the thing)and was wondering if that is the case or if anybody knows a similar type of exhaust and contact number to enable me to put on a new one.

I am after a back box and centre section up to the cat for my 2001 wagon wrx!!

Davy, I thought that the exhausts were all the same for the saloon and wagon? Why didn't it fit?

I have and HKS superdrager on my 96 wrx wagon - no fitting problems. Only problems are removing the smile from my face and hearing loss!

Thanks for the replies guys, the rear silencer fits no probs, straight onto the rubber mounts and sits nice. The centre pipe lines up ok with the backbox and also the rubber mount but overlaps the cat section by nearly THREE INCHES.There is maybe half an inch of play overall but certainly not 3".

HKS were a nightmare to deal with and even asked whether Subaru made a 2 litre!!!
My mate ended up hanging up the phone the were so unhelpfull.
