'Noise levels reduce 6Db ( a quartering of the initial level) with each doubling of distance'
So something producing 99Db at 1m from the source will reduce to 93Db at 2m; 87Db at 4m etc, etc. How do I find out at what distance the noise will be 90Db and also what is the noise at 3m? I can plot the graph in Excel and I'm pretty sure it's a log function but I can't figure out the formula. Ta muchly Mark |
