Seems to have packed up on my wagon on the hatch only. The 4 doors still work. Boot will lock with the key though. Any ideas anyone?

Maybe just the solenoid in the hatch itself sticking.
Take it out, spray some WD on it/in it, clean it up and it MAY work again.

lift the boot up then you see the rubber tube that goes from boot to body in the top right hand corner well if you pull it back or cut it open then you will see some broken wires just reconnect them. some times it also breaks the wiring for the rear wiper the boot light and any thing else that is on the tail gate. you will probably also see wires which have broken insulation but not the wire it self so still best to repair these as well

Cheers Scoobyboy
Absolutely spot on as 3 wires broken. Has fixed my rear wipe sweep as well. Had to bodge it by adding extra wire but working just now.:D

Scoobyboy thanks for the advice you have put on this thread, I saw this thread this afternoon and i went to have a look cos my c/l on my hatch wasn't working on my wagon, took the rubber off and pulled it back and there was 5 wires cut right through I have had to solder and tape back up but ive now rapped them in a good amount of gaffer tape aswell cos its quiet hard stuff that.

glad to be of help it's quite a common problem on the hatches and i do exactly the same i add a longer bit of wire so the flexing is now on the new bit and not on the old bits where it's been reconnected.
