|
Nice, what car, colour, year, etc?
|
its a 98 sti v4 coupe in white, we have just built it, it has only had 3 outing's so far, pretty pleased with it, but still got lots to do.
|
I'll have to keep an eye out for it :)
|
we will be at crail next sunday (fast car day) should be quite good!
|
12.6 - STi5 (with a few mods!!)
|
so, with minor mods, eg- exhaust, air filter, down pipe you can get in the 13's..
Why do people slag of the scoobs saying there slow when there getting the same 1/4's as the rest? |
ScoobyRS - what you running?
Any of the STi's and upwards that are running right should get close to 13's in standard form (before mods) - minor mods will only shave off split seconds - depends how much you're prepared or able to spend !! |
dee300
sounds like you should be heading to the scooby shootout. are you planning going to any of the scottish rolling road days that get organised through the winter and is your car still running 2litres?. I am guessing this is the CRD car?, after seeing the abuse the supra can take and the power it obviously runs, I can see you guys are going to be busy if the scoob does as well. |
BlackScoobyWRX - I have an RS turbo.... for now. im looking into scoobs at the moment :D
|
Not sure if Dee realises but I did a i/4 against him at crail last w/end, I'm well into 13's and it was embaressing, talk about off into the distance, this car is seriously quick! oh, and it looks and sounds stunning too!!
Dee, I'm off to Crail too on the 28th, I'll pop along and say Hi Tim [Edited by P111TJW - 9/19/2003 8:08:47 PM] |
is it easy to get 300bhp from a scoob? WRX? what kinda mods are needed?
Cheers |
ScoobyRS - 300 BHP is fairly easy for an import. STi5 standard is 280'ish BHP - decat this babe and re-map it, new filter etc and 300 BHP is there for playing with (and what fun it is too - fookin' luv it) - go for it m8

Yea thought about the shoot out, not made my mind up yet so I might see you there, as for a dyno day would be up for that, I have tried to put my dyno sheet up on the site but I dont think its up yet! the car is the crd one and it has just been built so still a lot to learn
|
you say the import is 280bhp as standard.. so what the UK spec to get to 300bhp?
Cheers :) |
Early UK spec cars are low 200's, later mid 200's BHP. Obviously you can get these up to 300, you just need to throw a bit more at it !! Look out for Wanted on here - he's got a UK spec Scooby which must be around 300BHP judging by how quick it is !!
