I am getting a WRX STI Type R coupe & will need a alarm. Can anyone recommend a good Alarm system (Thatcham cat. 1)

I have a Clifford Concept 50X. This gives CAT1 cover and has a host of features including 2 proximity sensors. One for internal and an external. The external alerts people who stand too close to your car for too long with a series of chirps. If they stay too long it will set your alarm off. This can also be fitted to Tracker 24hr. Hope this helps. If you want more detail contact me direct.

I've recently had a Cobra 6422 alarm/immobiliser fitted to my 98 Impreza. It's a Thatcham Category 1 device and I've been very pleased with it.

Also I advise you to get an alarm/immobiliser fitted at a VSIB approved fitter (stands for Vehicle Security Installation Board) and hopefull it means they will do a good job. You don't want any idiot messing with your car's electics.

Contact me direct if you want more info.
