If I was Chalkie I would be worried, that bugger will eat anything.

unclebuck 17 September 2003 09:08 PM

He did say that an ingredient smelt like Chalks... I reckon you could be right ;)

OK 3 years ago.... before last 2 series!

How much for just chips?!!

stevem2k 17 September 2003 11:08 PM

no idea. bill was ££££££££ for 6 of us in the restaurant though.

We stayed 2 nights in the hotel onsite ... the breakfasts are also :D

Highly recommended for that 'very special' treat for the missus.

We pay £13.00 here in North London. "Two brother" in finchley...(dont eat in.. customers are old people going on about money!!)

But realy realy excellent food. They got pissed off trying to finf nice house wine each year etc.. so went to france and bought their own vinyard so they can guarantee the same quality/taste etc ... and very nice it is.

Great food is always worth paying for. I like real chefs like Stein and floyd.

Great entertainment, but makes me feel hungry every time.

I couldnt disagree more to be honest. I pay less in top London restaurants than his place in Padstow, and the food wasnt nearly as good as the restaurants here either. Just my humble opinion but I think he is an awful long way short of being a 'God'.
