Hi All...

I am a member of the FFOC - Ford focus owners club (www.ffoc.co.uk) and regularly read items on this forum regarding security and any helpfull info...

I am just bringing to your attention some bad news that members of our club have had today regarding houses broken into for the keys to RS Focus's and other cars...

All too common unfortunately :(
The first one, the manchester/chesire area isnt the first FRS to go walkabouts, there is one down the road, the guy has a few RS's (sierra, escort and focus i believe) and they broke in, took the keys to the FRS, leaving the considerably more powerful cars sitting there!
What still gets me is that people dont put tracking systems on their high performance cars  as this atleast has the best chance of catching the thieving ******'s

Perhaps a serious look at a Clifford Blackjax may be in order.
very effective security and i would say the best value for money you can get.

I'm an alarm engineer (buildings not cars) can't tell you how much we keep getting this.Come on folks we all spend a stack on car security then leave the house unprotected doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out the weakness in the cars security. Not trying to drum up business wev'e got more than we can handle already but iv'e seen this stuff happenning more often 15 years ago it rarely happened wev'e had a handfull this month so far.

Yes - the house is as well alarmed as the car (but no tracker though)...
