i've just had my decat downpipe fitted and the garage that fitted it didn't re-fit the turbo heatshield. does this need to be on? also do i need to exhaust wrap the downpipe? help please.

I'd put it on, it may need cutting to fit though.

agree with james, its best on than off. Get yaself some tin snips and moddify it til it fits. Its abit of a trial and error job.
You could wrap the down pipe as it keeps underbonnet temps down, especially when in stationary traffic ect. It would also help the heat soak issue with the intercooler.
