Whats a select monitor ?

I have Delta Dash...

Jen 16 September 2003 09:10 PM

Not that I know of...don't they cost about £20000 or am I thinking of something else?!:)

Still having trouble? :(

Peanuts 16 September 2003 11:09 PM

£20k:eek:
its a brain scan for the ecu I think, Subaru use em to run a diagnostic.
I have run the cars diagnostic system and it shows up clean, I have also reset the ecu in case.
still got hiccups on idle, replaced MAF and going for O2 sensor swap tomorrow, have cleaned idle solenoid so last hope really.
good news is that while eliminating other things I cleaned and topped up all fluids so rest of car is sweet:)
I prolly will replace the dump valve as a precaution but want an uprated recirc as opposed to VTA, not quite neon ready yet;)
I will be ready for IOW beano:D
Andy
ps have you booked the ferry as a group or is it an individual thing?

Jen 17 September 2003 07:20 AM

Well at least the rest of it's ok :)

Yup - going to book as a group if that's ok? Was going to drop you an e-mail today (and will do when I get to work! :)) to ask about times...

Jen

Jen 17 September 2003 08:55 AM

...appart from you havn't got an e-mail address in your profile  ;):D Oh well...We were aiming at leaving on the 9:30ish ferry from S'ton to get there about 10:30ish and then leaving the island at about 7ish to get back for 8ish - or are you and Mrs P staying over? Let me know what you reckon! jenny.mawer@eastleigh.gov.uk :)

dnb 17 September 2003 09:25 AM

My diag software won't do anything past MY98 :(
Deltadash or a SECS monitor is about as close as you'll get to owning a select monitor for the MY99 (and onward) cars.

If you do get hold of a real one, can I have a play too?

Peanuts 17 September 2003 03:51 PM

Jen, Andy@cbr600.org.uk is the email, those times seem cool and so does booking as a group.
Mrs Peanuts has backed down on the camping bit and we will be returning to the mainland with you lot :)
DnB, of course:D:D

Jen, have you checked your passport, and where are you changing you currency...? ;)

Andy

Jen, have you checked your passport, and where are you changing you currency...?
A*SE! I forgot :eek::eek: Better get down the Post Office quick! ;):D lol! :)

Excellent - thanks Andy, I'll stick it in my address book so I can annoy you some other time :) I'll book the tickets now then...(or when my boss leaves her desk, don't you love open plan offices  ;):D)

Peanuts 18 September 2003 08:57 AM

oooh,
MarkLemac, will your delta dash plug into my 99 uk and run diagnostic on MAF/02/idle...?
if yes, would you mind meeting up and testing it.
only other thing to check is dump valve for leakage.

bought an 02 last night new for £25, cheers Ian!!
Andy...

marklemac 18 September 2003 09:42 AM

Yoh Peanuts,

I bought the delta dash to run with my STi7. It has the OBDC thingy socket that plugs into that hole under the steering wheel.

Do you have that socket ?

I know that with Delta Dash you can have it running with up to three cars...
