as per http://www.santapod.com/

If you drive a Japanese performance car then head on up to Santa Pod Raceway this October for a brand new event!

With the huge growth in popularity of the famous "Run What Ya Brung" track days at Santa Pod Raceway, a new track event is to be laid on especially for owners and drivers of any Japanese car.

The Japanese Performance Show run in association with "Japanese Performance" magazine is confirmed for Sunday Oct 12th is open to all makes and models of Japanese cars and provides a great opportunity for drivers to get a taste of racing down the famous drag strip. Drivers will get the chance to practise their reaction times, try to beat the 1/4 mile times of fellow participants as well as improve on their own.

General admission is only £10 - you don't need any special modifications or a race licence simply present a valid national driving licence on the day and £12 will buy you 3 full runs on the strip. Every driver will receive a personal performance print-out after every run so you'll be able to keep tabs on how well you're doing. Whether you want to have a go or just turn up to watch your mates it's great value and great fun!

A "Top 20" best of show Japanese cars will be invited into an exclusive display area so if you feel your is top notch and worthy of a place send details of your vehicle to the show organisers in advance info@santapod.com. Alternative areas for immaculate machines will be also be available for groups and car clubs. Call the info/hotline to reserve your FREE club space.

Off-track activities will include a massive trade area for parts, clothing and accessories, a free "Cars 4 sale" arena (just turn up on the day), ICE traders, family entertainment, helicopter rides and side-shows plus catering and bar facilities available throughout the day.

Venue open at 8am - track action from 9.30am - 17.00. Tickets also available in advance at £8 plus £1 booking fee. All kids under 16 go free (max.2 kids per adult).
So who fancies a funky jap thing on the 12th which already has a few other clubs going by the looks of it.
Si
PS can i blag a lift ;) lol
