l have just bought some genuine 8 3/4x17 legacy gp a speedlines which l am having machined to fit my rs.The major problem is tyres to fit them as they run in to hundreds of pounds eg 245/40/17 somewhere in the region of £130 each but l have seen an advert that does kumhos for £70 ish.l know that these tyres are successfully campaigned in tarmac rallying but l need good ware rate are they any good anyone know?

Kumho's are a good budget tyre .... budget in this case does not mean cheap 'n cheerful. My friend has run his STI4 on these and had found them to be a good tyre - he has also sold them (runs his own tyre & exhaust business) to other Scooby owners that we know.

Hope that's helpful.

Steve, speak to Goodfellows tyres in Cockermouth. They can source most sizes of tyre and are very well priced. Ask for Darry. 01900 823600

Get onto blackcircles.com

A goodyear F1 in that size is £125!

Loads better than cum holes!
