I have a UK MY00, and have just changed the clocks to Jap ones with the Rev Counter in the middle, however

The speedo is in Kph, and as such reads the correct speed but in Kph, I take it that the trip & mileometer is recording in Kph too

How can I get this to read in Mph both the gauge & trip etc, is this easy enough to do

I do have a Defi HUD so I do know my 'actual mph speed) as this is still reading correctly, and this is picking up from the Speedo sensor just before it goes to the clocks on the green multiplug connectors

Its just the gauge itself, and aslo as it only goes upto 180kph, will I do any damage by exceeding this speed limit, or will the needle just keep going round :)

Cheers

Steve

Oh, is there anyway I can 'alter' the mileage reading so it matches what I had in my car

My car was currently at 33,000 this new clock reads 2502 :)obviously better cos its lower mileage, but I would much prefer it to read the cars true mileage

Sonic, i've had a look at this recently for a mates STi6. We have bought an electronic convertor/derestrictor that fits into the loom from Eurospec 2000. The first we got was the wrong one:rolleyes: and are now waiting for the correct one. I think it cost about £50. The only thing i'm not sure of is changing the mileage. For us it doesn't matter as its a rally car.:)

Thanks Mark

Would be interested to hear how you get on, when it arrives, may have to look into one of these, do you know where abouts in the loom it goes (ie behind the clocks etc)

Cheers

Steve

Mark

I found this which does apparently let you change the mileage reading too, or a certificate for mileage

bit pricey tho
