The Scooby had to go as it's three years old and has 100k miles on the clock. Due to Mr TAX man no liking the flat four engine and a new house, I have gone for other one in the picture :D

It's the 2.0TDI and does about 500 miles on a tank and goes nicely on the Motorway. The only thing is that you just don't get a large grin on your face when you drive it.

It does save me about £200 a month in TAX though :D

a friend of mine has the exact same car as his company car....goes really well for a diesel and still has a turbo rush, although not as barbaric as the scoob. He had the sport pack on top tho with the 17" alloys and looks the bees. Nice cars all round

Nice cars.Why not chip it.Audi/vw engines are good for it.My mates got a golf gtdi thats chiped and its impressive.But he knows he cant chase the scoob

It's the standard sport so has the sport pack and the sports seats. I did go for the Lumber support option though and after a 31/2 hour drive today I got out feeling fine. As the wheel adjusts for hight and reach you can get a very good driving possition even if you are tall like me and have to have the seat back. The Alcantera seats also work like velcro as well.

Just getting it run in, the Audi service guys said that the enginee would loosen up quite a bit as well with some more miles.

Compnay car so I don't think I am going to risk chipping it.

Oh how our hearts go out to you. How will you manage without the Scoob? Still, Excellent motor, and you do still have the memories!

Give us all a fright and tell us how much you got on trade in / sold the Scoob for with that kind of miles? :D

Scooby was a company motor (the reason why I am not bankrupt) so I don't know. It is going to Auction and I can only guess at about 8-9k if that. I did ask Adams what they would give me in trade in hypothetically but they did not offer a figure.

A lot of people though I would buy it but it needs a new clutch and I think suspenssion bits probably need replacing as well. It also needs a front respray and almost all of the pannels on the side of the car need the attention of the dent master.

My guess at what the car would fetch at auction is closer to 6K with that mileage.

I just got offered £8.5K for my MY00 woth 35,000 miles and £6K of mods!!!!!!
