I shall mainly be measuring my garage tonight ;)

cheers

NotoriousREV 03 September 2003 08:42 AM

IIRC, if your garage is "standard length" it won't fit ;)

It's an open plan double garage, I'll get it in sideways/on a angle maybe

The RingMaster 03 September 2003 12:01 PM

My R34 fits in my standard garage with about 10 inches to spare,
should fit no problem at all !!!!

std garage is 16 feet, I think. Well my one in my block of flats is :)

I'd be more concerned about the width and the long doors...

DaveMiddleton 03 September 2003 05:37 PM

I had an R34 Vspec which I kept in my single garage. It fitted no problem, even width wise. The car is BMW 5 Series size approximately.

If you can afford one dont let a garage stop you! **** me, id go and find some extra bricks from somewhere, or nock a hole in the back! :D

cant remember how long mine was, but it wouldnt fit in my garage (was too wide).
one thing though, people never seem to keep 'em that long really. i had mine about a year-year and a half, and it always suprises me how many people sell them after a year or so. i dont know why, perhaps their reputation and the dream of owning one is better than living with one? who knows.

Inforcer 05 September 2003 10:48 PM

that why you should buy a scoob you can do a **** load of mods and be a bit different and still have a vast amount of backup off this site!

Midmotorsteve 06 September 2003 12:53 AM

my next door neighbor had an 33 and it wouldn't fit in his westbury homes garage, saying that with two push bikes against the back wall my mr2's a squeeze

evoviifan 10 September 2003 11:22 AM

this sounds like crap but its true...

My evo VII fits in my garage with approx 1 inch to spare length wise! I have fixed wooden blocks to the floor so I know how far to reverse into the garage without trashing the car!

The garage is a joke...I have had to nail carpet to the wall all over the show and do a some weird body bending routine to get in and out of the car as the garage is so narrow.

Can't leave the car out on the drive though...as some knob would probably put a key down the side of it again (happened twice already)
