I've got a starbo G12 turbo timer, alas with no instructions!!

Does anyone know where I can get instructions for it??

The problem I'm having is that it plugs straight into the OE Loom but there are to wires which I cannot find a home for them

Also I cannot seem to get the unit to do it's job, just by plugging it in I assumed that it would work so I figure that these wires must play an important part.

Any help would be most appreciated!!

One is red and the other is blue, htey both have bullet connectors on the ends

They are relativly short compared to the rest of the loom onyl about 6" from the controller (not the display unit)

you should have 3 wires red green and blue? red to the black and white wire on the ignition then green to the black and blue wire on the ignition and the blue wire should goto a black wire on the ignition the yellow and black wire on the ignition is poss for the starter.

looking at the loom with the timer, there is a plug adapter that fit's between the steering column and the rest of the car, it comprises of 2 plugs, male & female, the harness for the timer is piggy backed off this and a I do have the 3 wires you're talking they're are on a white 3 pin plug (strangly enough) there is also a white wire seperatly of the plug connected via a bullet type connector.

I'll check to see which wires they connect into on the column.

in addition to the above, I have checked the wiring config on the harness and have found that

Red connects to Black and White
Green connects to Black
Blue connects to Black and Blue

I've tried changing them round to see if it makes a difference as per darrens tub timer wiring, but to no avail

I would have thought that most Tub/Timers would do the same thing and thus have the same wiring as you say your wiring is more or less the same as mine, ive had another look at mine and the blue and green were the wrong way round didn't do much before I changed it but it nearly stalled when I turned the car off. any way seems to work fine now.

Have you tried starbo website is there any thing on the control box to give you any ideas.
