Just bought one and im wondering how i take the old badge off? Any ideas, ive taken grill off but cant see how its held in place.

glued on i think. hot water?

i used a blunt knife to carefully lever mine off. once you get right under it, it just sort of pops off!

Don't know if its the same but I removed my escort cossie badge with a hair dryer,just give it a good long blast on heat setting number III ;) and it should soften the glue enabling you to prize it off without doing any damage.

It's just stuck on mate with those sticky foam pad thingies. Just prise it out.

Aye, it's just kind of foam/glue kind of stuff. I'm not sure what you'd use to attach the new one though?

anyone got thier old non pink one lying around, some ba$tards nicked mine !!

haven't tried it but was told drill a hole through the back of the plastic grill then push it out from the rear . best to give it some heat first with a hairdryer to soften the sticky pads. be careful not to drill into the badge itself incase you might want to refit the old one when someone nicks your nice new pink one by levering it out with a screwdriver and knackering up your grill that you have been so careful in trying not to mark. sorry !!

what is with the pink badges why u want a pink one

Put a bit of cloth round the knife as u prise it up so u dont scratch the grill or indent it... Carefull as you go... Its just like the stuff that holds your number plate on. But black and a little stronger.

I thought about puttin a pinkie on, but arent they only for STi's really (he says with an full STi interior and clocks lol)

They are suppose to be on STI`s but my import WRX came with one...
For some reason most imports have the pink badge regardless.
