Looking to get a 4x DVD writer. Not really bothered about dual compatability (would prefer -R than +R).

Budget around £100-150

Can anyone recommend a decent one?

Hello

i bought a Teac writer last month(rebadged pioneer) and have been very pleased with it so far.

got it from www.neogames.co.uk.
bought the hacked firmware one ,came to £150 with about 25 blanks and postage etc.

go and look on bigpockets.co.uk think there doing writers for under £100

I got the Pioneer 106 a couple of weeks ago from www.bigpockets.co.uk for £129 all in, then bought 25 Datawrite media for about £18.

Very pleased writes both format DVDs and also CDs quite happily.
