...as i have been experiencing what i am hoping is fuel cut whilst on boost at 'motorway' speeds *cough* ,have checked oil and it seems to be on the full mark exactly(although the dipstick is plastered in oil when i pull it out, anyone else get this...) and have heard that oil overfill (or maybe just full) can cause oil to interfere with wastgate actuation and cause fuel cut, i've checked the small section of pipe that leads directly to the actuater , two 2-3 inch sections ,pencil thickness with a 't' juntion and i can blow through it (altough i wouldn't fancy drinking a Mc shake through it ..)are there any other pipes i need to check ,also when i experienced the supposed fuel cut engine check light did not come on...soz for long post.. :D

Might not be the pipes - it may be a doggy MAF sensor.
Most peoples show its "failing" by hunting on idle , but mine did what you are discribing and was fine on idle.
I borrowed a mates Sensor and it was like adding another Turbo :D
Bought a new one the following day and everthings fine now.

I thought MY98 MAF sensors were not the ones prone to failing ?(although i guess they don't last forever...)
