Hi,

This morning, the slightest hint of damp and my normally start every time Legacy was very reluctant.

Seems I was getting absolutly no spark at all. Engine went eventually and once it was running it seemed to be perfectly normal.

I had a look and I think I have one coil per spark plug, do these actually sit at the plug end?

Any advise would be greatfully recieved, guess this sort of problem could end up expensive?

If your car is an early or mid 90s model then your
problem is more than likely the crank sensor as they apparently
had some sort of ceramic insert that gets brittle and does not conduct too good with age when cold. Had a similar problem and Subaru recommended we changed both the crankl and cam sensors .
