Does anyone know if the new MY03 still benefit from a Prodrive quickshift as older cars did, or is the gear linkage in the new cars good enough out of the box ?

Its not as noticable as on the old shape car.. but still a bit shorter...

If i had £300 to spend again i probably would look at something else to spend on first b4 spending - but if you've got the dosh its worth it IMHO... its just not a "must have" like it used to be ;)

Hi

We actually withdrew the shifters in July, more info can be seen and requested here:

We do have some lovely shifter made by B & M and AVO Turboworld though so let me know if we can help.

I think you feel the benefit more in the WRX : the STi has a shorter throw out of the box afaik

Ive got the Prodrive QS on my MY03 WRX, it certainly improves the feel of the box IMHO and there is a noticeable shortening of the throw.
