I'd like to get it back as clean as this but don't know which bits I should cover before I let the jet spray loose on it. Can't get the Halford's magic lotion over here so will use something else instead :(

Could one of you kind people take this picture and highlight the bits I need to cover up? Thanks in advance.

The only bits i covered up were the intercooler as not to bend any fins, and also the air filter for obvious reasons, not a problem is you still have the air-box mind. Everything else was left uncovered and i didnt have a single problem. Just dont go too mad around electrical connections.

All I covered were the intercooler fins and the siren for the alarm.

Just size a bit of card and plop it on the intercooler and put a bag over the siren.
