Sorry Guys
I know it's been asked before, but I can`t get the search to work. I need to know what's the best baby car seat to buy forward facing for a 10 month old baby.

Lee,

Just been through this with my 8mth daughter. After much searcing we were advised that we could only go for ones with alternative routing due to the length of webbing on the seat buckle (MY00) so we had a choice of the new Britax First Class or................. a Britax First Class!! Ended up with the 'old model' Britax Club Class Extra (same fixing) as Halfords did a deal on it.

It'll be replaced with the Recaro one next year once we feel she's old enough for it. They say from 9 mths but it only uses the diagonal belt so we'll wait a bit.

Havent tried this.... but apparantely Britax's website has an option to search for the right seat for your car.

Might be worth looking into.

We have the Britax with the ISO clips and use it in the Impreza, as for the Recaro, ok for pose factor, but it is crap compared to the Britax for stability and ease of use, I would rather my child be safe than cool.

having owned a recaro i would advise you consider getting one very carefully.

buying it because its recaro is not clever.....i would not want to crash with my kid in one.
