Just got the new tyres fitted and more problems....

* The clutch has started to judder when the car gets warm in traffic. It has never done this before. Has anyone else had this happen ??? Could it be a faulty clutch ?

* Front headlamp washer has been leaking and hard scale is now all down the front bumper.

Cant wait till next July when it goes back....

Sorry mate, haven't read your other topics. What Clio is it?

Druddle, you are the reason I'm getting rid of my Clio, lol!

I shouldn't laugh, you haven't had much luck!!;)

nisr227 - its a new shape 172 (not the older one!) And I've never known a car to spend so much time in a garage as Dave's, except my mates old Fiesta 1.25 Zetec........

I've just got shot of my Clio Cup because the build quality was simular to a Christmas Cracker.

The clutch used to slip on that in 3rd.......

German or Jap is my saying now.

You must have got a "Friday afternoon" car there mate... :(

My mate's 172 has done 52k miles now and has been spot on!

Just a couple of minor things, but nothing you wouldn't expect from any other car.

It's been thrashed from day one too and has done a couple of trackdays, but is holding up well.

Fingers crossed my Cup will be as good!

I've had no serious issues with my Reg 51 172. Done 20000 miles and only had the centre section of the exhaust replaced. Don't want to tempt fate, but everything else has been perfectly. Must be a "Monday" car.
