Thanks

Might be an idea to check with your insurance company to see if a discount is available although mine didn't .I have Tracker monitor cos i want to know if some thieving *anker is nicking my scoob whilst i sleep not me have to ring them 7 hours later when i wake up and find it missing.

How do Tracker know that your car is being stolen though?

AlarmsRus 16 August 2003 10:42 PM

Tracker monitor has built in movement sensor to detect unauthorised movement. Not going to broadcast exactly how it works to the whole world though!!
Have a look on the tracker website for more info.

Tracker Moniter has a motion sensor must be activated for 3 minutes for it to activate a signal, GPS locates vehicle Moniter then uploads a signal to GSM to show position of vehicle.

The tracker monitor works by vhf radio triangulation not gps+gsm

I have a Becker Satnav system...go into a tunnel, multi-storey, container(!), etc, and its fcuked!...same with a GPS tracking system I imagine. Get the Tracker monitor. (Just IMHO)
