I bought my M reg wrx import a few months ago and have started to look for a new rear spoiler, the one i have fitted looks to me like an Alfa Romero spoiler, is that standard on wrx's?

Guys,

I'm in the same situation, just imported a new WRX 03 and want to change the spoiler.

I used to have a MY00 which had a great spoiler - not too "look-at-me" but enough, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, this got me thinking what if I put a MY00 spoiler on a MY03 WRX. Have a look and see what you think....

Original WRX MY03:

New WRX MY03 (with MY00 spoiler overlayed):

Personally I think it looks quit good. I only wish they would fit!

Steve.

Hi,

Couldn't you get a similar effect by going for the spoiler 'raising' sections for the original part? I've an MY03 WRX and as soon as I see some in action, I'll make my mind up !!

Have a look at our web-site www.drmotorsport.co.uk
There you can see 4 different styles of rear spoiler for your WRX together with what they are called, so it will give you an idea of what your looking for.

If the one you have is a high looping spoiler about 10" above the bootlid - like the Alfa 156, it's probably not standard.

David
