my car allready has ppp and I was just wondering what the performance difference would be by fitting a stainless steel downpipe? and also is it neccesary to fit a stainless up pipe aswell and I take I would also need the two sensors aswell?
Which downpipe/up pipe would be best suited to ppp setup allready on the car?
I have done a search on here and this subject very inconclusive, money as allways being a major factor, I may have to keep my eye out for some second hand items, just want to know what to keep my eye's peeled for! thanks in advance Taffyboyo. D)

With a ppp it would ne advisable to fit an upipe & downpipe at the same time typical gains for the upipe would be circa 8 bhp & the downpipe upto 15 bhp with the turbo spooling up 500-800 rpm faster.

You would typicallly pay £115 upipe & £175 for downpipe though would also need a cel fix to prevent check engine light coming on (as the cats have been removed). Expect to pay £100 for fitting (all prices plus vat)

New you cannot do better than H&S contact Ian/Andy on 01268 727256, second hand source via For Sale forum

A worthwhile investment where you'll probably see circa 265 bhp.....

Cheers, There are different types of downpipe, which one would be more suitable for my needs?

With an up pipe and downpipe fitted to an 01 PPP car, we regularly see 275-280bhp. Its a very effective mod.

We pioneered the open neck downpipe and that's the only design we sell.

Got the Scoobysport Up pipe and Down pipe on a MY01 PPP and it makes a lot of difference (I've also got the centre section and back box :D)

Go for it.
