can anyone tell me what make of tyre a power racer 2 is and if theyre any good or are they a bit like the old teflon ditchmasters

Never fit budget tyres to a high performance car it's not worth it and you will not get the best performance out of the vehicle as well as potentially putting yourself at risk:rolleyes:
Consider brands such as the Goodyear GSD3 or Toyo T1-S which seem to be the most popular and proven so far

I disagree Richie,

My friend (who runs his own tyre & exhaust business) has been running Champiro and Kumho budget tyres on his STIiv. They've both been very good tyres, good grip wet & dry and lasted longer than some of the more well known and expensive brands - they've both been good for track days as well and he does drive the car hard on the road.

It all depends on what budget tyre you go for... if you go for Kwik Fit's own, then I would agree with your view.
