Just thought id send a thread with some good news for people to read on here for once.
Have been hunting for full set of tyres for ages,everybody promising everything and delivering nothing.Have hit that many answering machines who have not replies to the business and been running round fretting with on the limit rubber ready to cause me points.
When this morning i was passing Wheelmania,Coventry Road B,ham by chance and drove straight to see if Bob Mac would have anything available that could be fitted at the right price there and then.
20 minutes later i drove out with a full set of Toyo Proxes T1s 215/40 x17s fitted and balanced for £320.
Now after all my phoning around this price seems excellent,id been qouted £319 to be sent to my house,but then i have the grief of paying £8-10 a tyre for fitting,and these were the people who never reply to their ans machines.
I told Bob that i would pass this information onto any fellow scoobynetters in the Birmingham area and he said that if anyone rings or turns up,that if they quote Gene from scoobynet site he will honour that price constantly.
Bob says he carries the Toyos in stock for immediate fitment and can be contacted on 0121-688-8844 or 0121-742 1999.
