Just fitted a couple of the above to replace potenza's anyone care to tell me what they think of them. Tyre fitter said they were not as good as proxes but said they will last much longer, compromise I suppose ;)

Shouldn't you be telling us what they're like ;)

Eh, when I have done more than 7miles i will ;) I was meaning things like how long should I expect these to last with normal driving (if there is such a thing), how can I expect them to handle in the wet etc. Full report from me on them in a few hundred miles.

Ricky.
I think these are good types! I have these on my scooby, Had them fitted on 2 *cough* Fiesta's *cough* as well.:)
I have had no problem with them at all. Even on the 15's when they got a tad low, never slipped in the wet, and i mean downpours, they still stuck to the road.
Currently on 16's, but then going onto 17's and will continue using the P6000...

I have heard some nightmare tales about them, but i suppose it is persoonal preferance at the end of the day :)

Are you running 2 Bridgestones and 2 Pirellis? Not a good idea to have differing grip front and rear.

I've just changed from Pirelli 205/17s to 215 Bridgestones - much better grip
