Looking to do a 6 speed conversion on my WRX here in California in the nearish future. Trouble is, the 6 speed from the STi in the States carries DCCD as standard......something I definitely do NOT need/want. That torpedos any hope of picking up a used one here. From what I can tell, the UK 6 speed carries the same ratios as the USDM version, but has the nice, reliable, simple Suretrack diff instead of the DCCD.
What are some parts sources I can contact over there in England to possibly get a new or used UK market 6 speed?
Thanks,

Well, I would be looking for a US box with the DCCD fitted to fit to my UK car!

Do you a swap.

Heh, two jets going by each other in the air, eh? Let me know if you need help looking for a DCCD 6 speed from over here. I don't think too many cars have been wrecked so far, so waiting 6-12 months will probably see avaliability and price become more favorable. For a new one, here's Rallispec's homepage, for reference. Paying top whack here though.............
