Earlier this year a driver in south Wales was caught using a laser jammer and south Wales police were intent on prosecuting him, possibly with perverting the course of justice. I've not heard any more about this but a recent thread on Pistonheads suggests that the charges have been dropped. Does anyone know any more detail?? I was planning on fitting a jammer but not if this guy got done for it.

Any advice regarding the best jammer? Has anyone had any problems with the cops supecting a jammer is fitted when they don't get a reading of your speed?

A decent jammer with two front emmiters and one rear is about £900 fitted. The way to use these is to leave them on until you are being targeted, then switch them off once you are within the speed limit.
If they are visible after installation and you get asked about them claim that they are a parking aid.;)
