Legacy 2.5 4 cam , R reg. The check engine light keeps illumination for a few seconds then going off, was OK for the last couple of days but has started again today, engine lacking power feels really sluggish, but the strange thing is i was given 2 keys when we picked the car up, one was the original Subaru key the other a 'chipped' key. Been using the Subaru key up until now, have swapped for the 'chipped' key and the check enging light has stopped flashing, strange Ehh. Also the car runs like a dream with this 'chipped' key. If any of you scoobynetters have an explination for this strange behaviour please let me know.
