I know the airflow meters on BMW M3's, M5's, Peugeot GTi's etc are adjustable once you open the top of the box etc.

Are the meters for a MY97 hotwire type sensor adjustable as well?

Just a query really, i don't think i will be trying it, but just interested to know if anyone has opened the top of the meter (where the multiplug connects etc) and had a look inside.

Cheers

Paul, thanks for replying

The round hole near the connector?

I take it this is once the top is opened? As there is no hole near the connector on my sensor (apart from, of course, the main airflow path lol)

The MY97/98 is different to the Pre97 and doesn't have the round thingy on it, so i don't think it's adjustable. I gave up getting the taper proof cover off mine and adjusted it in the actual ECU map..... bloody thing. Almost sliced my finger off trying.
