I had a new performance clutch fitted about 3 months ago, no real problems with it.

But, now i am having problems selecting gears (feels like its not fully disengaging) and whilst the car is in gear it sometimes slips under heavy load (not fully engaging).

I assume this is a failing / sticking release bearing. Can anyone else confirm this or give me a pointer as to what else it could be??

Have heard of that b4, check that your clutch pedal stop on the support bracket isn't adjusted incorrectly (with the switch on it), as this will not let the clutch release compleatly, it may have been adjusted incorrectly when they did the clutch, the pedal should be 147 mm ISH off the carpet from memory, they should have adjusted the input shaft from the pedal to the master cylinder if anything.

Let me know what you find

Cheers Chris

I tried adjusting my pedal and i recon as long as there is free play it should be fine but there must be some freeplay or it wont disengage properly and will slip under load
